The latest update for Rust seems to offer minimal content changes. These include the addition of a FOD indicator when using explosive charges, the addition of whitelisted servers, as well as fixing a bug that would kill players who were gathering resources instantly. The update promises to lay the ground work for more content updates later on this week but what that entails remains to be seen. The new update also caused a headache for players of modded Rust servers by temporarily disabling the majority of the most popular server mods until hot fixes were made available. Most server owners then had to wait on hosts to update the mods, adding to the frustration.
